मलाई खाना प्यान्ट्री र कपडाको कोठामा स्वयम्सेवा गर्न मनपर्ने कुरा अरूलाई मद्दत गर्न फिर्ता दिनु हो। म अन्य स्वयंसेवकहरूको मित्रताको आनन्द लिन्छु। तालिकाहरू लचिलो र परिवर्तन गर्न सजिलो छन् र यो उत्कृष्ट व्यायाम हो!

हाम्रो समुदायमा यति धेरै निरन्तर आवश्यकता छ। हाम्रा छिमेकीहरूलाई मद्दत गर्न र उनीहरूलाई मूल्यवान महसुस गराउनमा सानो भूमिका खेल्न पाउँदा म आफूलाई सम्मानित महसुस गर्छु। पेन्ट्रीमा स्वयंसेवा मेरो हप्ताको सबैभन्दा राम्रो भाग हो! हाम्रा ग्राहकहरूको मीठो अनुहारहरू हेर्नको अतिरिक्त, म मेरो प्यान्ट्री स्वयंसेवक "परिवार" सँग समय बिताउन तत्पर छु, जसलाई म माया गर्छु!

मेरो छिमेकमा बस्ने मानिसहरूलाई मद्दत गर्न केही गर्दा मलाई आनन्द आउँछ। यही कारणले गर्दा म भिक्की मेडो फूड प्यान्ट्रीमा स्वयम्सेवा गर्छु।

स्वयम्सेवा गर्न र धेरै अद्भुत छिमेकीहरूलाई भेट्न पाउँदा खुसी लाग्छ! मलाई मन पर्छ कि Vickery Meadow Food Pantry ले आफ्नो सांस्कृतिक सम्पदा र धार्मिक विश्वासको आधारमा खानामा प्रतिबन्ध लगाउने व्यक्ति र परिवारहरूलाई सम्मान र समायोजन गर्दछ। यदि यो तपाईलाई महत्त्वपूर्ण छ भने, यो हाम्रो लागि महत्त्वपूर्ण छ।

I recently moved to Vickery Meadow so the folks we serve are truly my neighbors. I love to see the children’s smiles, and the relief on their parents’ faces when they know their children will be fed for the next week with nutritious food; it means so much to all of us here. It really is the most fulfilling (and fun!) work I do all week!

There is so much need in the Dallas area, it is an honor to be of even a little bit of help. It is very rewarding to know that the neighbors of the Vickery Food Pantry will have meals if even for a few days - and the food we provide is good for them.

At VMFP, I particularly love the direct interactions with our neighbors and being physicality involved in helping them---I literally place their family’s food into their shopping cart. No matter how challenging the work is---at the end of the day I feel so grateful for the opportunity to serve.
